Engineering Ideas. Commercialized Responsibly.
BUW Projects Corp. is a Canadian engineering intellectual property company focused on developing, documenting, and licensing innovative technologies for the built environment.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between engineering innovation and commercial deployment—transforming conceptual ideas into professionally documented intellectual property that qualified organizations around the world can evaluate, engineer, adapt, and implement.
We believe innovation doesn’t end with an idea; it begins with one. From there it takes rigorous research, disciplined documentation, responsible licensing, and close collaboration with architects, engineers, manufacturers, developers, insurers, and public agencies.
Our work spans resilient infrastructure, wildfire mitigation, sustainable construction, and building technologies — engineering solutions designed to meet emerging global challenges.
What We Do
BUW Projects develops engineering concepts into structured commercial assets through a comprehensive process that includes:
- Scientific and technical research
- Engineering documentation
- Commercial licensing
- Intellectual property management
- Digital engineering asset delivery
- Technical illustrations and conceptual diagrams
- Regulatory pathway documentation
- Industry-focused commercialization strategies
Our goal is to give organizations professionally prepared engineering portfolios that accelerate innovation—while respecting the essential role of project-specific engineering, testing, regulatory review, and professional certification.
Our Philosophy
Engineering innovation succeeds when it rests on three pillars.
Scientific Foundation Every concept begins with published research, established engineering principles, and continuous technical review.
Professional Collaboration We develop conceptual engineering platforms intended for refinement and implementation by licensed professionals and industry partners.
Responsible Commercialization: Intellectual property should be documented, licensed, and managed in a way that protects creators while enabling responsible adoption across industries.
ICEGUARD™ Genesis
ICEGUARD™ is the first commercial engineering portfolio released by BUW Projects.
The Genesis Engineering Portfolio explores an integrated approach to wildfire resilience, combining thermodynamics, water-mist suppression, radiant heat attenuation, autonomous monitoring, and resilient infrastructure into a single structured engineering framework.
Rather than offering construction-ready products, the portfolio provides a foundation for future engineering development, project-specific adaptation, and commercial collaboration.
Our Industries
We develop concepts intended for application across sectors, including:
- Wildfire resilience
- Building technology
- Sustainable construction
- Infrastructure
- Climate adaptation
- Energy systems
- Industrial facilities
- Real estate development
- Public infrastructure
- Advanced manufacturing
As our portfolio expands, we will introduce additional engineering platforms to address emerging challenges across the built environment.
Leadership
Victor Inkindi (Rema)—Founder & President
Victor Inkindi founded BUW Projects Corp. after more than two decades working with developers, entrepreneurs, institutional investors, and project sponsors on the commercialization and financing of complex projects.
His experience spans preparing investment-ready opportunities, coordinating technical documentation, supporting due diligence, developing commercialization strategies, and helping sponsors position projects for private capital.
Alongside leading BUW Projects, Victor serves as an independent PFX Regional Manager, working in an origination and warm-introduction capacity to connect qualified project sponsors with financiers through the Project Finance Exchange (PFX). This role is non-advisory and non-brokerage; all financing decisions, due diligence, and terms rest with the sponsors and financiers themselves. The combination of engineering commercialization and project finance introduction gives him a practical perspective on how innovative technologies move from concept to implementation.
Our Vision
We envision a future where breakthrough engineering ideas move more efficiently from research to real-world implementation—through professional documentation, responsible licensing, and collaboration with qualified industry partners.
By building engineering portfolios that unite scientific research, commercial strategy, and intellectual property management, BUW Projects aims to accelerate the development of safer, more resilient, and more sustainable infrastructure worldwide.
Looking Ahead
ICEGUARD™ is the first chapter in a broader portfolio of engineering intellectual property under development at BUW Projects.
Future portfolios will explore additional technologies supporting resilient communities, sustainable infrastructure, and the evolving needs of the global construction industry.
We welcome collaboration with engineering firms, manufacturers, developers, research institutions, insurers, government agencies, and strategic partners who share our commitment to responsible innovation.
